Ritsuka, flushing, attempted to bat away Soubi's roaming fingers brushing across his hipbone. "Soubi, stop! "

Soubi, just about to chew on the base of Ritsuka's left cat ear, pulled away. "Whatever Ritsuka wants."

Feeling annoyed and cold now that Soubi was no longer loosely straddling him, Ritsuka said pressing his ears down and narrowing his eyes, "Stop talking like that."

"I'm sorry," Soubi said, shoulders dropping and head tilted to the left just enough to bare his neck. "Do you wish to punish me?"

"Yes," Ritsuka said, still annoyed, tail thumbing against the ground, surprising them both.

Soubi's eyes widened for a moment, but he quickly schooled his face. He bowed his head, his long, blond hair falling down, concealing his face. He looked incredibly venerable and untouchable. Ritsuka wished he could take his words back.

"Go away," Ritsuka said. He couldn't bring himself to say, 'don't come back.' Mostly, because he didn't want Soubi to leave at all.

Soubi lifted his head slightly and said, "Ritsuka - "

"Are you still a liar?" Ritsuka said, lifting his head slightly in order to glare at Soubi properly with all his might.

"Whatever Ritsuka wants," Soubi said, flinching at the glare and turning away.

Ritsuka, his tail swinging slowly back and forth, pressed down his ears harder on his head, grabbed Soubi's wrist, and said, his voice angry, "Stop talking like that! That's the whole point of punishing you, isn't it?"

Soubi looked broken. "I'm sorry, Ritsuka. I - "

Ritsuka grabbed Soubi's wrists and pulled him back down on top of him. He clenched the cuff of Soubi's shirt as hard as he could, bowing his head and squeezing his eyes shut very tightly. He nuzzled Soubi's neck gently, caressing Soubi's jaw with his soft ears. "Don't say anything."

"Okay," Soubi said slowly, hesitantly.
