What this Means

Notes: for
xinda. Although this isn't really that smutty.
Pairing: Bulma/Vegeta
The first time they had sex (it was just sex, sex between two lonely people) was during a cold, dark night.
It had been snowing.
Bulma remembers that clearly because she always thought having sex next to an open fire as it snowed outside was terribly romantic. And Bulma was still a romantic at heart, no matter how much she grew up and how much she faced. She was still that sixteen-year-old wishing her prince in some ways.
Well, Vegeta was a prince and it was snowing and there was a fire, but the sex wasn’t anything like Bulma counted as romantic.
It was raw and it hurt like hell, although Bulma could tell that he was trying to be gentle with her. She still scratched his back without mercy anyway (and later cursed at him because she broke several of her nails).
When it was done, Vegeta left her in the living room and Bulma went back to looking over her notes on her latest project.
They found their way together again then next night when it snowed again.
Bulma never asks Vegeta if the snow meant something to him like it did to her, because she doesn’t want to tell him what it the snow meant to her, what he meant to her.
(It does mean something to him. Her.)
